The front cover of the college mag has the entire page page being taken up by the photo this is so it stands out. There is a short amount of text explaining some of the articles inside the magazine down the left hand side. It is short so it doesn't put people off and a brief outline is useful to show whats in the magazine.
The contents page has two columns showing the stories in the magazine. It is a simple layout for easy use. There is also the title at the bottom of the page in the same font so it will become recognised.
