I have chosen to present the feedback I collected in in the interview style format.
Front cover:
The title and picture help the magazine stand out. They are both appropriate to the target audience. It looks professional. The title and picture are the most successful elements of the front cover as they make it look professional and attractive to the demographic.
Contents page:
The reuse of the font which was used in the title was effective, however the text explaining the articles could be in a bolder. The sub headings (genres) look stylish. Could have used an image to make the page more interesting.
Page 1 double page spread:
Could have used a colour font for the Djs name at the top of page. Layout conforms with magazine styles. The use of colour in the text makes it more interesting. The picture suits the article as it is laid back in both.
Page 2 double page spread:
Poses in photographs look good and make it more interesting. Different sized images could have been used to give a more varied and interesting look to the page. They make it look too basic, so the page seems to lack depth.
